Ayurveda || The science of longevity
Ayurveda is a way of life that shows us how to maintain and protect our health, youthfulness and vitality.
It is often referred to as the “sister of yoga.” Like yoga, it is a philosophy as well as a daily practice. A complete medical science of the human being as a whole—mind, body and spirit — Ayurveda utilizes food, herbs, lifestyle routines, aromatherapy, yoga, massage therapy, meditation and other natural therapeutics as medicine.
In this workshop we will discuss the basic principles of Ayurveda, including the Ayurvedic approach to health, the 5 element theory and explore the 3 Dosha's (Vata, Pitta, Kapha).
