Ayurvedic Preparations For Spring

Ayurveda (Ah-yer-vey-duh) is an ancient science of holistic healing dating back to the Vedic period of India. A complete medical science, Ayurveda acknowledges health as a continuous and participatory process that embraces all aspects of life: physical, emotional, mental, behavioral, spiritual, familial and universal. 

The foundation of its teaching is that when one learns to live in harmony with the basic laws of nature, one is free of dis-ease.

As we begin to make the long-awaited transition from Winter into Spring, Ayurveda offers us the wisdom and opportunity to expand our personal and environmental awareness, acting as a holistic guide map for awakening our own innate healing potential.

In this FREE, lecture style workshop we will discuss the basic principles of Ayurvedic living, with a focus on nutrition and daily self-care practices for the coming Spring Equinox.
